I was asked to comment on the 2012 drought, by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. They have been active in food issues the past few years as part of their Global Agricultural Development Initiative. I especially like their weekly newsletter (despite its title "Food for Thought", which I suspect tops the list of most over-used phrases in the world).
